Securitas Gratitude free prize draw

Terms and Conditions

1. By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.
2. The prize draw is being run by Securitas Security Services (UK) Limited (company number 1146486) which is registered in England and Wales at 24 Old Queen Street, London, SW1H 9HP – referred to as Securitas UK.
3. Securitas UK reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

Eligibility to enter

4. The competition is free to enter and open to entrants over 18 years of age (Securitas UK staff members are excluded from the draw).
5. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
6. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.
7. Securitas UK reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the competition.

How to enter

8. Answer correctly the question on this page (securitas.uk.com/competitions): submit your answer together with your contact details.
9. The prize draw will include entries submitted between 20th August 2021 up to Midday on 12th October 2021. Entries outside of these times and dates will not be included in the draw.
10. Securitas UK will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.

The prize

11. The prize will be:

PRIZE 1 – quantity 1 - a luxury food and drink hamper with a retail value of £100.

12. Securitas’ use of particular brands as prizes does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
13. The winners will be drawn at random performed by a computer process.
14. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
15. We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
16. The decision of Securitas UK regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Winners announcement

17. The winner will be notified after 12th October 2021 via the email provided during entry.
18. Securitas UK will attempt to contact the winner by email up to two times.
19. If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they will lose their right to the prize, and Securitas UK reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner/donate the prize(s) to a chosen charity.
20. The prize will be sent to the winners within 14 days of responding to the notification email sent by Securitas UK.

Limitation of liability

21. Insofar as is permitted by law, Securitas UK, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Securitas UK, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Data protection and publicity

22. Securitas UK is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Securitas UK Privacy Policy which is available on our website: securitas.uk.com/privacy
23. By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by Securitas UK or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.

Governing law

24. All our prize draws and competitions will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
25. Securitas UK reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.
