High-tech electronic security solutions
Using state of the art equipment and professional expertise, we provide real-time remote surveillance and response across the financial services environment via a range of technologies including: Remote access control, including multi-layered security systems using two-factor authentication, Remote digital CCTV surveillance – internal and external/perimeter, Remote intruder and fire alarm monitoring and response
We can provide an end-to-end service which includes supply, installation, monitoring and maintenance of remote systems, or you can choose to use our monitoring and management services only.
Alarm monitoring and response services are provided and managed by the Securitas Operations Centre (SOC) in Milton Keynes. This is the first purpose-built Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) in the UK to receive European accreditation to BS EN 50518 and the industry leading NSI Gold Standard. Trained staff monitor alarms 24/7 including intruder detection, fire, access control systems, and worker and asset tracking devices.
Securitas Intelligence Unit
The finance sector is particularly vulnerable to protests and demonstrations, terrorists, and cyber attacks and the best way to mitigate these risks is with advanced, actionable intelligence. Our experienced Securitas Intelligence Unit officers use a global network of open sources (OSINT), social media (SOCMINT) and closed sources (including private sector intelligence, military, policing and academia) to provide early warning of any activity that might be a cause for concern. In the event of a threat being identified our other protective services – such as additional surveillance or an increased security presence on site – can be quickly deployed.
STARS
Our STARS (Security Trained Assistance and Reception Services) are a smart and reassuring presence for any customer-facing banking environment or business reception. Combining two roles in one individual, they provide both professional Front of House and security services. SIA qualified, screened and trained by us, STARS are well-presented, articulate and alert, and bring extensive capabilities to the role. Each of our STARS undergoes pre-deployment training bespoke to the client’s site-specific needs.
