Steven has been one our Protective Services officer for 8 years, moving from a static role to a mobile patrol role 6 years ago.
“Every day is different when you’re patrolling an area”, he explains. “There’s lots of driving so you get to know your patrol area really well. Our clients trust us to keep their people, property and assets safe so you have to be super vigilant to spot anything unusual.”
Steven works shifts, patrolling schools, industrial units, offices and warehouses. “A lot of the time I work on my own, but I know there is a great team of people behind the scenes if I need any help or support. I still really enjoy driving and the technology we use makes the job even more interesting. In fact, I’ve just been asked to train new mobile patrol officers too, which makes the job even more rewarding.”
